fter retiring in 2004, Georges Leroux found himself with a few extra hours a week and a decision on how to spend them. The choices were whittled down to a) puttering in his yard b) fly fishing c) wood turning d) volunteering.
While Georges still finds time to putter about his yard and community garden, enjoys taking fishing excursions with his 3 children, and volunteers in the local soup kitchen, it was the lathe that called the loudest.
The cars have been moved out of the garage and it has been turned into a craftsman's dream. The lathe, tools, wood stumps, lights and sawdust fill the once orderly 2 car garage.
